Emergency Contraception (up to 5 days after a risk of pregnancy)

It is important to take emergency contraception as soon as possible after the risk of pregnancy. It is available for free for all ages from all GPs, Online SH.UK — Free STI / STD Testing & Reproductive Health and specialist sexual health.  If you are under 25 years old the emergency contraceptive pill is free over the counter from some pharmacists. You may also wish to consider an emergency intrauterine device (IUD).
