Working together to support your sexual health

The East Sussex C-Card condom distribution scheme is in need of an image makeover!

The East Sussex C-Card condom distribution scheme is in need of an image makeover!

East Sussex County Council (ESCC) run the scheme and is launching a competition for local young people aged 16 -24 to come up with a new name and design the new C-Card branding.

We want young people to create an image which is exciting and new, which will enable us to promote sexual health to those aged 13-24 years.

The East Sussex Youth Cabinet will select the winning design and the new name in the autumn.

The winner will receive £50 of Love to Shop Vouchers

Design brief:

In a bid to promote creativity, the design brief is deliberately unrestrictive; but should meet the following points:

  • Entries should include a new name for the scheme or can still use the current “C-Card” name.
  • Entries should develop a concept / image that will be appealing to 13-24 year olds.
  • Entries should not include the words ‘condom’ ‘sex’ or anything else which could cause embarrassment to an owner of a C-Card.
  • Entries can include photos, hand drawn and graphically designed images. Please do not submit any inappropriate or pornographic images.
  • We will accept Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Publisher document files. (PDF, TIF, JPEG and PNG files are also welcome).
  • Please consider that the final concept / image will be developed to be used on a C-Card which is a standard business card size of 85 mm x 55 mm.

All entries must be received by Friday 8th December 2017 at 17:00
